Planning permit for this investor driven project was obtained in early 2017 and subsequently sold with the permits shortly after. This red brick classic development was a study in efficiency, to design two homes with care to the practical needs of the building brief, natural lighting, cross ventilation etc as well as designing in a sense of place within a confined suburban lot in a distinctly hip roof and brick neighbourhood. Attention was given to creating a distinct and private sense of approach by the setting of entries and space for trees in the landscaping.
