The project was a close collaboration with craftsman and designer/maker Hamish Hill, who undertook the build as an owner-builder. Hamish’s deep understanding of material and craft informed every stage of the process. His active involvement in both the design and construction, from shaping the building’s details to crafting the furniture within brought a remarkable level of refinement and authenticity to the project. We shared a commitment to making, where design and craftsmanship are seamlessly intertwined.
